Hello. Now that you know the basics about me, I can add a little more detail.

I am currently enrolled at the coolest college ever in southern Vermont.

Most of my behavior is characteristic of those afflicted with Bipolar Disorder, which, considering I am afflicted with it, makes sense.

First, I consider myself introverted. I prefer small groups to large parties. My friends are few, but close. Group situations make me anxious, and I tend to work alone. I have a hard time accepting criticism, though I readily criticize myself and others. The standards I set for myself and everyone else are too high, so I set myself up for disappointment when I do not reach them.

I love to create. While I draw a great deal and even paint occasionally, I highly prefer artwork of the more 'crafty' nature. Taking things apart and assembling them in new ways is a hobby of mine. I create art from the things I find.

Political awareness is important to me. I have a hard time respecting those who discuss that which they do not know, and an even harder time coping with ignorance either in myself or in my contemporaries. A proud, die-hard liberal, I make a sport out of arguing. Few things entertain me more than a good debate on relevant issues. I have been told by my elders that I make for very engaging conversation, not to flatter myself.

Religion is a pet peeve of mine. With my father's words, "the only thing I learned from Catholic school was to be an atheist," echoing in my head, I have developed a religion out of logic and reason. I hold no belief in a deity or any supernatural forces. While I admit there are things that logic and reason cannot explain, I refuse to dream up solutions and claim them as truth.

Finally, I'm a huge Trekkie, though I'm not really big on Voyager and Enterprise; The Original Series, The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine are infinitely superior. Ozzie wears a collar in Starfleet sciences-blue with bronze rank pips and a delta shield charm, a testament to my fangirliness.
